A Night Alone in the Dark Castle

The concept of a castle interior bathed in moonlight and candlelight. The mood-setting is dark and mysterious. Something has happened here; blood strung along with the floors and walls. What could have happened to leave such a gruesome scene? Please do not stop to feel comfortable; one does not know what could be lurking around the next corner.
