The concept of a castle interior bathed in moonlight and candlelight. The mood-setting is dark and mysterious. Something has happened here; blood strung along with the floors and walls. The study of the creation of materials with Substance Designer and the use of light intensity, as well as color, was used to create a mood throughout the level. The process for the creation of this level started with the basis of pieces of architecture that I enjoy looking at, which involve Medieval stone works such as castles. I then began to think about what is popular with today's culture for my mood and setting, this began to gravitate me towards a Nosferatu/Dracula Vibe. Dark, creepy, and blood-splattered hallways and corridors. All of the materials used in the scene are made by myself with substance designer, for the exception of the Stone Archways out trim, which is a stone material pulled from Substance Share, and of course the cobwebs which are by
